These Terms and Conditions apply to all assignments undertaken by AccountingAdmin.co.uk.
A signed Instruction Form must be completed by the client before the commencement of any assignment and will also serve to indicate that you have read and accepted our Terms and Conditions. The form will detail any specific requirements you may have, the hourly rate agreed and your preferred method of delivery and return of work. However, if your requirements change, after consultation, AccountingAdmin.co.uk reserves the right to amend the details of the instruction.
It is the responsibility of the client to specify a deadline for completion of any assignment.
Hours worked outside of office opening times will be charged at an extra £5.00 per hour unless alternative arrangements have been made.
Additional expenses incurred in the undertaking of any assignment will be billed; including travel, lengthy or international telephone calls, postage, courier services, printing and colour copying, bank charges etc.
Payment can be made either by cheque, made payable to AccountingAdmin.co.uk or by BACS directly into AccountingAdmin.co.uk's bank account or for local customers, by cash whereby a receipt will be issued. For private individuals all cheques must have a cheque guarantee card number on the back. If a cheque is returned by the bank the client will be responsible for any charges arising from this.
All late payments will incur interest charges at the interest rate applicable at that time. We always hope to avoid any action being taken against clients for non-payment. However, if necessary, we will use the facilities available to us to recover any outstanding invoice and, costs incurred to do so will be added to the amount outstanding.
The client must pay for and provide software and relevant licences for any programs that they wish AccountingAdmin.co.uk to use other than Microsoft Office, and Sage Line 50.
All work is checked for spelling and where appropriate grammar. However, final proof reading of documents remains the sole responsibility of the client (unless instructed to fully proof read on your behalf - please note, this will increase the hours required to complete the assignment). Errors and/or omissions brought to our attention within 24 hours will be corrected free of charge. We believe 14 days is a reasonable extension to this timescale for larger, more complex documents such as technical, medical or legal assignments.
All e-mails, files, discs, CDs or other electronic media will be automatically scanned for viruses. Please note our virus scanner will automatically delete infected mail and/or attachments and files. If we are in any doubt about an attachment or file we will not open it.
AccountingAdmin.co.uk will keep documentation archived on disk if requested by the client, however, AccountingAdmin.co.uk does not accept liability for accidental damage, theft or destruction by fire.
We reserve the right to refuse an assignment or discontinue working on it if we believe it would be appropriate to do so.
Every effort is made to ensure we provide a reliable service, however, AccountingAdmin.co.uk cannot be held responsible for loss of service or lost information.
Monthly retainer contracts may be terminated with 28 days notice in writing by either party.
AccountingAdmin.co.uk premises are not open to personal visitors.
CONFIDENTIALITY – AccountingAdmin.co.uk will not at any time or in any manner, either directly or indirectly divulge, disclose, or communicate in any manner any information that is proprietary to a client. We will protect such information and treat it as strictly confidential. This provision shall continue to be effective after the termination of any agreement.
